Welcome to the Natyanjali Festivals season of 2018.
And to our coverage of it in the few ways we can do so.
The schedules of the festivals that are being held for many years now flew in this past week - from Chidambaram and Nagapattinam, Thanjavur and Kumbakonam, Thirunallar and Chennai.
And a close look at all these shows how many dancers from across the country now like to perform at Natyanjali time in temples across Tamil Nadu.
We spotted artistes from Mangalore ( coastal Karnataka) and Hubbali (Hubli in Karnataka), from Pune and Mumbai in the schedules.
And groups from the east zone, some sent on tour by their local Cultural Centres.
All this gives the Natyanjali circuit at Sivaratri time another dimension.
